Our compassionate in-home euthanasia services allow your pet to pass gently in their familiar surroundings, surrounded by the love and comfort of home.
We also provide cremation services following in-home euthanasia or for pets who have passed away naturally at home, helping you honor your pet's memory with dignity and care.

Booking Your Mobile Wellness Appointment
To schedule your mobile veterinary appointment for wellness care, please call us at (856) 460-2529. Mobile appointments are for healthy pets needing routine care, wellness exams, vaccinations, or end-of-life services. If your pet is showing signs of illness, injury, or distress, please schedule a clinic appointment instead.
When you call, we'll discuss your pet's needs to ensure mobile service is appropriate. If your pet has previous medical records from another veterinary practice, please email them to info@meadowrunvet.com at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
What to Expect on Appointment Day
We'll provide you with a time window for your appointment rather than a specific time, as mobile veterinary visits require flexibility based on our route and previous appointments. On the day of your visit, we'll send you a text message when we're on our way to your location, giving you advance notice of our arrival.
Depending on your location and parking situation, we may provide specific instructions about where to park or how to access your property. Our mobile unit is a custom Ford Transit van that requires adequate space for parking and setup, so we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring we can position our vehicle appropriately for your pet's care.
Preparing Your Home and Pet
One of the most important aspects of a successful mobile veterinary visit is having your pet ready and accessible when we arrive. We cannot catch or chase pets, so please ensure your pet is contained in an appropriate area where we can easily examine them. For cats, we recommend having them in a small room or already in their carrier before our arrival.
A responsible family member or pet owner must be present during the entire appointment to assist with handling the pet and to discuss treatment options. If your pet tends to be anxious or difficult to handle, please let us know when scheduling so we can discuss sedation options or other strategies to make the visit as stress-free as possible.
Please note that we are not equipped to handle feral cats or pets that require extensive restraint. Our mobile service works best with pets that can be safely handled by their owners with our assistance and guidance.
Scheduling Flexibility and Changes
We understand that sometimes schedules need to change. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. This courtesy helps us manage our schedule effectively and allows us to offer that time slot to other clients who may need urgent care.
Our mobile service area primarily covers Elmer NJ and the surrounding area in New Jersey. If you're unsure whether we service your area, please text us at (856) 460-2529 with your address, and we'll confirm whether you're within our service range. We're always looking to help pet families in our community access quality veterinary care.
